Lightning Bug Project
The Lightning Bug had impressive performance with the original 100hp AMW 2-stroke engine. This project will be refitted with the Lycoming IO-320 producing 160hp. This project was discovered ing Anderson, SC. The current owner had plans of converting it back to the original tailwheel design.
4/23/2008 - Took a field trip today to inventory the project parts. It seems to be complete with the exception of plans and instructions.
